Here are some of the most frequently asked questions about data collection in a special education classroom, along with some helpful answers.
The key to the boost in engagement with these four structures is that they can all be introduced to students without math, and then we can add the math into the structure which keeps math anxiety low. They also all have multiple correct answers – yes in math! – which makes it so much less intimidating for our students to participate and engage with the activity!
Independent living skills or activities of daily living (ADLs) are those things we normally do in daily living including any daily activity we perform for self-care such as feeding ourselves, bathing, dressing, grooming, work, homemaking, domestic and leisure. The ability or inability to perform ADLs can be used as a very practical measure of ability/disability in many disorders.
