Sensory friendly classrooms are ALL the rage. Let it be known, this is not a passing fad. We ALL have sensory systems! This is one of the main reasons why I am super passionate about classrooms being sensory friendly.
We all know that we are short staff this school year. There are high staff shortages. There is no denying that. We are down custodians, bus drivers, support staff, administration and teachers. Every school has open positions available. It’s been a crazy year.
It is essential that teachers are intentional about parent communication. Whether you are a first year teacher or veteran teacher, parent communication is a must. Teachers and parents need to be on the same team, and here’s some ways to help you get started with parent communication and collaboration!
Task Cards are one of my new, absolute favorite things to have in the classroom. You can find them on almost any topic and I promise you that your students will love them too.
We are therapists, nurses, secretaries, surrogate parents, and the list goes on. One thing that you probably weren’t taught is how to handle student medical needs in your classroom. Let’s talk about some common medical needs in the classroom.
