You Need Digital Review Games in Special Education

Digital review games are game-changing in my special education classroom! I’ve even sent them to my students’ Extended School Year (ESY) teacher! We also will be using them for Back to School to review all the activities we learned last year!

Truthfully, I love that digital review games can be used for whole group instruction or individual student progress monitoring. The use of these games make it fun and easy for students to practice their skills and learn at the same time!

What is a digital review game?

To begin, a digital review game is an interactive activity for Google Slides to use on a projected screen or SmartBoard. Teachers can use this for whole group review. Students can also use the digital activity on their own devices (iPads, Chromebooks, Laptops or Desktop Computers) and work on it independently.

To continue, the answers in the review games are self correcting and will give the student immediate feedback if they got it correct or incorrect. If they are correct, they will continue forward in the game. When they choose an incorrect answer, they are sent back to the beginning of the round. Ultimately, students will need to answer the questions correctly to progress.

Why do I need them?

Wow! Digital review games create a fun and engaging way to review lessons from the school year! Students are having fun and don’t realize that they’re practicing! What’s the best part? The best part, is that teachers are able to check for student understanding and knowledge. This bundle of digital games are perfect for the back to school review and assessment of skills! You’ll love them! Perfect summer theme to work with your students during ESY or summer school! Your students will love the fun colors and easy flow of these digital review games!
